What you will Learn in this Section

  • Tab 1

What you will learn in this section:

You do not need the entire Adobe Creative Cloud to use InDesign. I am going to show you how to layout your cover in InDesign. You may need to create your graphics/images in other software but there are lots of free and low cost options here:

  • Canva and PicMonkey
  • Photopea (good Photoshop alternative)
  • Paint (for simple cropping and resizing)
  • Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo (one time cost software alternative to Adobe)

This isn't a lesson on cover design, but rather how to use InDesign's features to layout your cover. There isn't much new in this section, so I move faster. Think of it as one last "putting everything I have learned all together" project!
